One of our development engineer recently came back to Uppsala after a visit with our manufacturer DFI in Taiwan. We have our own production test systems, developed by Hectronic, on site at our manufacturer. Therefore we do regular visits to DFI to ensure the functionality is as expected and that everything is working as planned.
The production test system is mainly managed from Uppsala and there is always ongoing work with improvements to enhance the systems performance. But there is a big advantage visit DFI to see how the operators use the system, which gives us valuable insight and ideas for new improvements.
On this particular visit Hectronic was looking into the production test system for a recently developed telematics computer, how it can be further improved and maybe speed up the process even more.
