A low temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) TFT LCD, prepared by forming polycrystalline silicon on a glass substrate at relatively low temperatures, achieved high carrier mobility in TFT. Therefore, LTPS TFT LCD realizes a high resolution and high density display that cannot be achieved with A-si by integrating part of the display drive circuitry on the glass substrate. Other features are also higher brightness with less power consumption and heat from backlight. JDI has developed LTPS displays, and has introduced one of the world’s highest density display prototypes. Among all of their LTPS-TFT’s they offer a 7.0” with full-HD resolution and a 13.3” wide TFT w 4k-resolution also called UHD (3840x2160dot).
